Man found dead in Langley grow-op: police
A man was found dead Tuesday night inside a Langley marijuana grow-op. Police are treating the death as a homicide.
A man found dead inside a Langley marijuana grow-op Tuesday evening was the victim of foul play, according to homicide investigators.
Langley RCMP responded to a call just after 10 p.m. at a rural residence on 200th Street, where they discovered a deceased white male.
The caller had asked officers to check on the well-being of the man staying at the home police said was used as a grow-op.
Cpl. Adam MacIntosh of the homicide team said investigators and RCMP officers would likely remain at the scene for the next few days.
"We are in the early stages of the investigation and processing the crime scene in an effort to determine what occurred inside the residence including the motive,” he said in a statement.
