The death of a woman who plummeted from a downtown highrise Sunday evening is unlikely to turn into a homicide investigation, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
Although investigators originally described the death as suspicious, VPD Sgt. Randy Fincham said no arrests have been made and police are awaiting autopsy results before any further determinations are made.
He added it’s unclear whether the victim, who was in her early 20s, lived in the suite on Howe and Pacific.
Police stopped by the highrise Sunday morning and Fincham said investigators are still trying to figure out if the earlier visit was related to the victim’s death.
