Vancouver’s food truck boom has rolled its way to the University of B.C. as Canada’s first on-campus establishment has opened its awning.
The Hungry Nomad parked its food-slinging truck on the university’s campus at the intersection of East Mall and University Boulevard.
According to UBC, the truck will specialize in pulled pork, deep-fried cod and brisket at around $8 a meal.
UBC said the addition of the truck will “add to Vancouver’s nascent street-food scene.”
