The best of B.C. was evident among the mouth-watering entries sent in by readers in Dungeness crab eggs Benedict served for brunch at the Grain Tasting Bar, to the Misoyaki black cod at Hachbei. The shrimp, snow crab and basil pesto pizza at Steveston Pizza was another seafood winner, as were the pan-seared scallops at Miku Restaurant.

For sweet treats, the giant chocolate croissants at the Swiss Bakery received two thumbs up, while the Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt didn’t disappoint.
