Vancouver Park Board wins latest injunction fight with centres 0

The Vancouver Park Board says it’s pleased with a decision by the B.C. Supreme Court to reject an injunction preventing it from advertising the OneCard in six community centres fighting the program.
The court ruled advertising the card is not inappropriate, in part because it could still be used at other community centres in Vancouver.
Six community centre associations had asked for the injunction as part of their fight to keep control over funds raised for the centres.
Earlier this month, the community centre societies won a different injunction preventing the city from talking to contractors involved in running the facilities at least until Nov. 18.
