Walter White has been locked up for moving an "extraordinary" amount of meth.

But this isn't a plotline from the popular AMC show Breaking Bad. This Walter White is a Lockwood, Mont., man who a judge said was caught with 32 lbs. of methamphetamine and whose son shot him in his driveway over a drug debt, the Billings Gazette newspaper reports.

On Monday, Judge Don Molloy sentenced White to nine years for meth possession and three years for a firearms conviction.

Molloy called the amount of meth White had "extraordinary."

White, 53, apologized to the court and said meth dealing was something he got addicted to, and when he tried to get out of the business, suppliers threatened him. He had pleaded guilty at an earlier court appearance.
