Drawers dropped for SkyTrain giggles
It was all giggles and embarrassed looks Sunday as the group Vancouver Improv Anywhere staged its fifth annual No Pants SkyTrain Ride.
Starting at the Broadway SkyTrain station, more than 100 people with backpacks hopped onto a train, acting as if everything was normal. Once the train doors closed, they took off their pants and put them into their backpacks.
When asked why they were doing this, the improv group’s members — and others who volunteered to take part — were instructed to simply answer that they were “getting uncomfortable.”
According to the group’s website, the event is done in cities around the world on the same day in order to get people to laugh.
