Edmonton Oilers trade Dubnyk, acquire Scrivens and Hendricks 0

By Robert Tychkowski, Edmonton Sun

ST. PAUL - Ten years after drafting Devan Dubnyk 14th overall, the Edmonton Oilers have decided he’s not their guy.

They still don’t know who their guy is - they’ll cross that bridge when they come to it, maybe later in the season, maybe next summer - but they’re closing the book on Dubnyk for good, trading him to the Nashville Predators for Matt Hendricks.

Dubnyk spent five full seasons with the Oilers, going 61-76-21 over 171 appearances, posting a .910 save percentage and 2.88 GAA.
