Justin Bieber's rapper friend Lil Za has been charged with three felonies following his drug arrest at the pop star's home in January.
The aspiring hip-hop star, real name Xavier Smith, was taken into custody after police found a bag of illegal substances during a raid on the Baby hitmaker's home in Calabasas, California as they investigated accusations that Bieber had pelted a neighbour's house with eggs.
Smith was arrested for a second time for vandalising a telephone at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's jail, where he was being held shortly before posting bail.
He has now been charged with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, for MDMA (a form of ecstasy) and prescription painkiller oxycodone, and a third charge for vandalising the phone in jail.
The rapper could face up to nine years in jail if convicted on all counts, according to TMZ.com.
