Planned consultations for the Pattullo Bridge replacement project are being pushed back.

TransLink said on Wednesday it needs more time to work out a regional plan with local mayors.

The consultations were initially to take place from Feb. 24 to March 14.

“As the Pattullo Bridge is one of the key priorities for the region, TransLink needs time to confirm with the Mayors’ Council how options for this project will fit into the regional plan,” the transit provider said in a statement.

TransLink added consultations would resume later this spring.
