For Canadian womenswear brand Judith & Charles, good things come in threes. The luxury brand recently opened its third store in Vancouver, bringing its tailored basics and feminine silhouettes to Kitsilano’s 4th Avenue. The new store features 1,600 square feet of retail space, and will be the 10th Canadian location for the brand.

Founded in 2008 by Judith Richardson and Charles Le Pierres, Judith & Charles is the result of a rebrand from their founding company, Teenflo. The brand’s minimalist styling relies heavily on premium fabrics and yarns that are sourced from places like Italy and Japan, but the line is produced here in Canada.

The aesthetic of the boutique is similar to the clothing that lines the perimeter of the store — classic, pristine and streamlined. Geometric prints, structured blazers, natural linens, crisp skirts and plenty of soft spring colours fill the store’s shelves, showcasing their Spring 2014 collection. Neatly tucked among weekend and workwear staples are carefully coordinated accessories like leather clutches, cotton scarves and shiny baubles. All of these items are designed with the modern woman as the brand’s core inspiration, making the stylish streets of Kitsilano a perfect fit.
