DARTMOUTH, N.S. — The two people accused of getting frisky on a daytime flight from Toronto to Halifax pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday.

A half-day trial date has been set for Jan. 21, 2015, for Alicia Lander, 25 and Jason Chase, 39.

The pair did not appear in Dartmouth, N.S., court in person. Their respective lawyers entered pleas on their behalf.

Both are charged with committing an indecent act on an Air Canada flight on Jan. 24, 2014.

Mounties greeted the arriving pair at the gate at the Halifax airport.

Lander was additionally charged with assaulting a police officer and causing a disturbance.

Sources at the airport say she kicked a hole in the RCMP interview room wall.

Lander lives in the tiny community of West Porters Lake, N.S., though QMI Agency could find nobody who would admit knowing her.
