Former UFC fighter Tito Ortiz has been placed on 36 months’ probation and ordered to enrol in an alcohol education program after pleading no contest to a DUI charge.
The MMA star was slapped with the count in January after he crashed his Porsche sports car on a Los Angeles freeway hours after he had been partying at the Playboy Mansion.
He initially insisted he was not guilty, but subsequently struck a no-jail plea deal with prosecutors and ended up pleading no contest to the charge.
In addition to his probation and alcohol awareness course, he must also pay a series of fines, according to TMZ.com.
