Reports from social media have identified teenagers Kendall Moore and Craig Wood as victims of a crash in which a vehicle plunged into Gravel Pit Lake near Prince George on Sunday.

RCMP said they removed two bodies from a vehicle that had gone into the lake.

Cpl. Craig Douglass said the vehicle was near the location of a large party it’s believed hundreds of people attended.

On social media, Betty Cardinal, among other posters, identified Moore and Wood as the victims.

“Everything can change in a blink of an eye bein with you guys at the truck 2 waking up&gone..xo RIP KM&CW U both will always be missed..<3,” she posted on Twitter.

“Words cannot explain how shocked I still am. #RIP Kendall Moore and Carig Wood; xo <3.”

Another person posted a photo of Wood and said, “Man this makes me think so much i miss you man i always will :) i love you craig.”

One more wrote, “we’re all left here in shock. it happened so fast. i remember the last time i saw you both, we shared hugs & tears.. it was a scary night. but now nothing compares to this empty feeling knowing we’ll never see your smiles light up the room again.”
