Metro Vancouver police are attempting to solve two homicides that occurred this past weekend.

In Vancouver, a 33-year-old man was found dead from gunshot wounds at a house on Gladstone Street near 29th Avenue late Saturday night. Police said the shooting doesn’t appear random.

Earlier that day in Agassiz, a man was arrested after a younger man was found fatally wounded.

He died in hospital and police are still investigating how the injuries happened.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says the victim and the suspect knew each other, but no further details are being released.
