Vancouver police have arrested a second man and charged him following a gold heist Sunday at the Douglas Reynolds Gallery on Granville Street.
That afternoon the men went into the store and smashed a display case, making off with a collection of gold Aboriginal artwork.
Shortly after, the driver of the suspected getaway car was taken into custody after the vehicle was spotted, which led them to the second suspect in the case being arrested Wednesday.
The VPD said 41-year-old Jason Amos of Vancouver has been charged with armed robbery, disguise with intent, firearms charges and possession of stolen property.
The man accused of driving the getaway vehicle, 51-year-old Scott Deckert, has been charged with a count of armed robbery.
