Did you attend a party decades ago where a human skull was passed around?: Mounties 0

EDMONTON — If you were at a party in Hinton, Alta., in the late ’60s or early ’70s where a human skull was shown or passed around, the Mounties would like to talk to you.

The Groeneveldt family found the skull while cleaning out their garage and turned it over to the RCMP in February 2013.

It was tucked away under some items that had been in the garage since the original owner, Leo Groeneveldt, died many years ago.

Family members believe Leo got the skull at a party he attended decades ago in Hinton, located west of Edmonton.

Mounties want to identify the skull. They hope anyone who recalls attending a party where a human skull was shown or passed around will call them.
