The Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Centre says it’s been a busy year and the facility has already admitted its 100th ailing seal pup of the season.

The most recent pup was picked up near Mosquito Creek Marina in North Vancouver Aug. 6 by a Port Metro Vancouver employee.

Emaciated, the pup was determined to need medical treatment and brought to the centre.
