British Columbians are most disgusted by those people who don’t pick up dog waste or use cell phones while driving — but have a large tolerance towards jaywalking and downloading illegal content.

That’s according to an Insights West poll published Wednesday, which found 94% of British Columbians were opposed to leaving doggy doo behind and 92% were opposed to driving while using a cell.

A large majority considered those behaviours “very” upsetting, the poll found.

Less than 40% of respondents were opposed to downloading illegal content and jaywalking, however. Those who were “very upset” at the two behaviours made up of 10% of respondents or less.

The poll was conducted from July 15-18, among 816 British Columbians with a margin of error of plus-or-minus 3.5%.
