A gang of thugs attacked a helpless man who appears to beg for mercy during Wednesday night's riots in Charlotte, N.C.

The incident, which was captured on video and posted to social media, shows a group of gangsters cornering the victim. After he is seen kneeling with his hands up, they punch him, throw him to the ground, kick him repeatedly and then drag him across a parking garage.

After he attempts to pull his pants back up, one rioter kicks him in the head and drags him to the ground again as the rest of the group laughs.

The video then follows the rioters leaving the garage and someone moving away from the parked cars, who could be the victim. The nature of his injuries are unknown.

The video was originally posted to Facebook by Lenard Bennett with the captioned: “This is beyond wrong smh praying for my city #Charlotte.”
