The demand wasn’t “your money or your life” for one Maritime mugger.
It was, give me your pants!
Cops say two men were accosted by two other men in downtown Halifax and the thugs began punching their victims, The Canadian Press reports.
Then one of the muggers demanded the victim surrender his trousers to the two sartorially inclined crooks. But the bad guys split before getting the trousers.
"I think the pants were the focus of the robbery," said Const. Dianne Woodworth of Halifax police told The Canadian Press. "In my almost 10 years, it's nothing I've heard of. It doesn't mean it hasn't happened, but it definitely piqued my interest this morning."
Police say they arrested a 26-year-old Bridgewater, N.S., man. The second suspect is still at large.
