Thinking of making a drink with a little pizzazz for your Christmas party?

Stock up on some ginger beer, limes and allow your guests to add whatever alcohol of their choice (gin, vodka or whisky) to make a mule cocktail.

A spin on the traditional Moscow Mule, which is made with Russian vodka, this cocktail created by vodka label Ketel One, has the delicious bite of ginger beer and is spiked with vodka made by Nolet Distillery in the Netherlands.

Ingredients:

- ice

-1 1/2 oz. Ketel One vodka

-1/2 oz. lime juice

-ginger beer

Method:

Fill a tall glass or a copper mug with ice. Add vodka, lime juice and top it with ginger beer. Give the drink a stir with a bar spoon and garnish with a wedge of lime.

For a non-alcoholic version of this drink, omit the vodka and add more lime juice or ginger beer.
