"Zip it, Stan Lee!"

No superhero can save everyone. Well... maybe Superman can but Wade Wilson certainly can't as is made clear in a new teaser trailer for the Deadpool sequel.

Fans who went to see Hugh Jackman's last Wolverine film Logan on Friday got to see the teaser for the upcoming film and many of them captured it on their phones and posting poor-quality videos of it online.

Now, Ryan Reynolds has posted a slightly longer HD version to his own YouTube account with the description: "Wade and the other girls from the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants plan a trip to Cabot Cove."

The teaser, titled No Good Deed, starts with Wilson (Reynolds) walking down a dingy street in a hooded sweatshirt until he sees an old man with groceries being mugged at gunpoint in an alley. Deciding to take action, he runs into a telephone booth outside a movie theatre playing Logan to change into his Deadpool costume.

Warning: This trailer contains graphic content!

As he struggles to get his duds on, John Williams' score from Superman plays and the mugging gets louder and more violent in the background, culminating in a gunshot. The viewer also gets a glimpse of Reynolds' (or a body double's) butt cheeks as they press up against the glass of the phone booth.

When Deadpool finally emerges from the booth, he tells off Stan Lee who, of course, just happens to be there, and then discovers that the old man is dead, the mugger has run off and the groceries have spilled all over the ground.

He apologizes for spending too much time in the phone booth: "If I'm being honest with myself, I probably should have just called 911."

He then decides to hang out with the corpse and eat the dead man's Cherry Garcia ice cream.

While not a lot is known about the plot of Deadpool 2, the film will feature Cable, a telepathic/telekinetic from the future, and Domino, a female assassin blessed with good luck. Neither role has been cast but recent reports suggest former 007 Pierce Brosnan and Scandal's Kerry Washington are the front-runners.

Deadpool 2 is slated to come out March 2, 2018, according to IMDb.com.
