Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon reunited to celebrate Easter with their children.
The singer posted a shot of her and her ex-husband with five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe decorating Easter eggs on Saturday. “Easter with #demkids #moments #rocandroe #easter #family,” Carey captioned the sweet snap.
It’s the first time the family have reunited since Carey split with her backing dancer boyfriend Bryan Tanaka earlier this week, and Cannon said he wasn’t concerned about his ex-wife’s breakup.
“For me, at the end of the day, she’s an amazing mother and we focus on our kids,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “That’s never going to change no matter who’s in my life or who’s in her life. We have kids together, so we’ll always be family.”
The former America’s Got Talent host also posted a sweet tribute to his daughter before the family’s Easter celebrations, and jokingly threatened her classmates.
Sharing a selfie of him posing with Monroe on Instagram, he wrote: “Miss Monroe loves her glasses and I hope she never takes them off!! A sophisticated intellectual is what I’m trying to raise here and these glasses keep them little grimy ruffneck kindergarteners away from my baby!! LOL.”
He joked, “FYI My Shotgun is registered!!”
Mariah went public with her romance with Tanaka, who worked as a dancer on her The Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour in 2016, back in November, but after celebrating the pop diva’s birthday at the end of March, they haven’t been seen together since.
The mother-of-two was previously engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer, but the couple split in October last year.
