Canadian model and vitiligo sufferer Winnie Harlow has stripped down to her thong to embrace her “unique beauty.”
The runway star, who rose to fame on reality show America’s Next Top Model, took to Instagram late on Wednesday to share a revealing photo of herself striking a pose in her living room.
In the snap, Harlow wears nothing but a nude thong, as she stands with her back to the mirror, with one arm placed across her chest and the other reaching around to take the picture on her cell phone.
“The real difference isn’t my skin,” she captioned the post. “It’s the fact that I don’t find my beauty in the opinions of others. I’m beautiful because I know it. Celebrate Your unique beauty today (& everyday)!”
Harlow has always encouraged body confidence in her fans after suffering at the hands of bullies as a kid due to her skin condition, which results in the loss of skin colour in patches all over the body.
