Drew Barrymore is developing a new female-friendly horror series with longtime production partner Nancy Juvonen.

The Black Rose Anthology series will boast an all-women team with Jill Blotevogel writing the pilot and executive producing alongside Barrymore and Juvonen, and others.

The one-hour series will feature classic horror themes interwoven with issues including jealousy, repression, and guilt shown through a woman’s eye. It will air on America’s CW network

It is unclear when the series will go into development, but this isn’t the first TV project the Charlie’s Angel star has worked on. She has also produced shows including Tough Love, Knife Fight, and Santa Clarita Diet, in which she also stars - as a zombie realtor.
