Homicide police called after body found in Richmond

Police are investigating after a body was found in Richmond early Tuesday.

Around 4:30 a.m. Richmond RCMP were called to Garden City Road and Granville Avenue for the report of a dead body. Investigators on site determined the body was that of a man and that the death was suspicious and possibly targeted.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called to look into the death, alongside Richmond RCMP.
