CGI Group Inc. announced a 10-year contract worth $395 million with the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development.
The deal will see the Montreal-based company provide tech support to the agencies’ 5,000 Joint Financial Management System (JFMS) program users posted in more than 300 locations around the world.
JFSM is based on CGI’s Momentum software and is used to manage government department domestic and overseas financial activity.

CGI is a leading independent information technology firm with clients in North America, Europe and parts of Asia.
Shares of CGI were slightly lower on the TSX Tuesday, trading at about $14.50.
