Vancouver film fest hands out annual awards

The lights are on and the last piece of popcorn has been picked up as the 2009 Vancouver International Film Festival came to a close Friday.

So after 16 days and 377 movies, which proved to be the cream of the crop?

Here are the films taking home prestigious awards from this year's festival:

- Best Canadian Feature Film:
