A messy performance has Mark Dacascos dancing home
By KATE SCHWASS
The Amazing Race There were a few meltdowns during this episode, capped off with Poker Girls Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle just giving up on their second Detour task -- and they were eliminated. Battle of the Blades Shae-Lynn Bourne and Claude Lemieux had a great dance, but Jamie Sale and Craig Simpson earned 5.9 from all the judges. Both were safe. Tie Domi and Christine Hough-Sweeney were sent home (it was about time for Domi to hang up the skates). Dancing with the Stars Mark Dacascos got a new partner, Anna Trebunskaya, after Lacey Schwimmer came down with the flu. But the judges called their performance "a mess" and they were sent home along with Michael Irvin and his pro partner, Anna Demidova. Top Chef: Vegas It's Restaurant Wars -- the most anticipated challenge of the season. The brothers Voltaggio and their team won (unfortunately that means Robin is still around). Jen and Kevin's team lost this week. Laurine was sent home for her bad front-of-house service, but Jen could be next if she doesn't pull up her socks. She seems to be slipping. Biggest Loser This week the contestants got average Americans to work out in Washington, D.C. Road-trip shows don't generally see results on the scale, but the contestants impressed this week. Shay is now under 400 lbs. Danny put up double digits, losing 12 lbs, Daniel lost 11 lbs and Tracey was sent home. So You Think You Can Dance The footwork was good, but the understanding of what they were dancing wasn't -- that's what the judges told Bianca Revels and Phillip Attmore before sending the two home. America's Next Top Model Erin is seen as a "brat" by her fellow competitors, so they denied her extra frames for the underwater shoot. Tyra Banks promptly told Erin she has been getting weaker each week, but it was Sundai who was sent home. Erin will need to give it her all and prove she deserves to be the top model -- there are only four girls left and, next week, two girls get sent home. KATE.SCHWASS@SUNMEDIA.CA |
