LOS ANGELES -- Maybe it's the universal health care. Or just the clean air. But it turns out vampires, werewolves and mortals can all agree on how much they enjoy Canada.
Just ask the stars of the Twilight franchise about shooting the sequels New Moon and Eclipse in Vancouver this past year.
"Canada is great. I've spent a while there," says Taylor Lautner who co-stars as boy-to-wolf Jacob Black. "The first time we were there it was rainy and dark and cloudy. It was snowing. And that was difficult, weather-wise. But filming Eclipse, it was beautiful. It's one of the most beautiful cities. I'm definitely going to miss it a lot."
"I love Vancouver," says L.A. native Kristen Stewart. "When we're doing the Twilight series there I don't get to go out as much as I'd like to. I'm also sort of a boring person.
"I really don't go out to bars and stuff unless it's an event. It's a beautiful place to be. I just like being outside there. The climate is so different from what I'm used to."
