Sexual tension on 'Community' age inappropriate?

In the sitcom

In last week’s episode of the sitcom Community, there was some sexual tension between Jeff, who is in his mid-30s, and Annie, who is 18.

In real life, Joel McHale — who plays Jeff — actually is in his mid-30s, but Alison Brie — who plays Annie — is in her mid-20s.

Still, McHale was asked if the Jeff-Annie angle will be revisited as Community continues its rookie season (Thursdays on NBC and Citytv), or if it’s supposed to be regarded as just too age inappropriate.

“You could see in that last scene, I was like, ‘Oh, I got to get out of here, this is crazy,’” McHale said. “I haven’t seen any scripts where it’ll be revisited, because I’ll probably be arrested.

“But believe me, it was good times. I mean, it’s Alison Brie from Mad Men. How could you not go. ‘Hey, look at that! Look at me!’ ”

In AMC’s Emmy Award-winning Mad Men, Brie plays Pete Campbell’s wife Trudy.
