Revitalizing the opera experience, Vancouver Opera recently unveiled the winners of an online animation contest, Operabot.
Contestants were challenged to create a short animated film based upon one of the four operas playing for the company's 2009/2010 season.
Brandon Cathay was awarded first place for his vivid piece on Madama Butterfly.
