Siblings Emily and Zooey Deschanel were asked if there are any other sisters in the acting world that they admire.
“The Kardashians, of course,” Emily joked.
“The Olsen twins,” Zooey joked in return.
Well, at least we hope they were joking.
“That’s such an interesting question ... I’m trying to think ... there’s the Arquettes,” Emily finally said. “They’re cool. We like them.”
Zooey will be a guest-star in the Christmas episode of Emily’s series Bones, marking the first time they’ve worked together. It airs Wednesday, Dec. 9 on Global and Thursday, Dec. 10 on Fox.
As for real-life Christmas memories in the Deschanel household, the Deschanel sisters had different approaches as children.
“Emily likes to sleep in on Christmas morning and I like to wake up early,” Zooey said. “So Christmas was a day of compromise.”
