A long-running TV phenomenon will reach a new level of fame next February when Doctor Who does the halftime show at the Super Bowl.
Oh, wait ... this just in, it’s The Who playing at the Super Bowl, not Doctor Who. Probably should have known that. Dang. Won’t get fooled again.
Anyhoo, there nonetheless are some major developments on the Doctor Who front for Canadian fans.
Saturday marks the Canadian premiere of Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars on Space. It’s the second of four concluding specials with David Tennant as the 10th Doctor.
Then coming up on Jan. 2, Space has the final back-to-back instalments with the appropriately titled two-part special Doctor Who: End of Time.
A new season of Doctor Who, with the 11th Doctor, will air next spring, also on Space.
