The news for Less Than Kind is more than good.
The second season of the edgy sitcom has been picked up by Astral Media and Corus Entertainment, which combine to run The Movie Network, Movie Central and HBO Canada, among other stations.
The first season of Less Than Kind aired on Citytv, and while it was critically acclaimed and won awards, it struggled to attract a wide audience.
The second season of Less Than Kind will debut Feb. 19 on HBO Canada, and you can bet it will get even edgier on its new pay-TV home.
Less Than Kind, which stars the hilarious Jesse Camacho as chubby teen Sheldon Blecher, is produced by Breakthrough Films & Television and Buffalo Gal Pictures.
