Are dragons born, or are they hatched?
The season finale of Dragons’ Den explores that issue Wednesday on CBC. The Dragons’ own personal paths to success will be traced in a special episode titled The Road to Riches. The reality show features aspiring entrepeneurs pitching their ideas to a panel of Canadian business moguls, called the Dragons.
“Anybody who has done great stuff got inspired somewhere along the way,” Dragon Robert Herjavec said. “I think you can motivate, and that’s the beauty of this show. This show is very inspirational at its core.
“When my family came (from Croatia) to this country, my father went for financial advice to the guy in his factory who had the most seniority, because we didn’t know anybody who was rich and had money. But for the people who come in front of us, it’s an opportunity for them to meet people who have done it before.”
