Actress Leighton Meester felt so uncomfortable attacking her close pal Minka Kelly during fight scenes in their new movie The Roommate, she kept apologizing after every onset scrap.
The Gossip Girl star plays a crazed student who becomes obsessed with her fellow tenant, played by Kelly, turning her life into a living hell.
The actresses, who have been friends for years, were forced to get physical with one another at one pivotal point in the film - but Meester found herself holding back for fear of hurting her co-star.
She says, "I'm trying to be physical with her, then I'm apologizing the whole time and I have a gun which is kinda terrifying."
Kelly adds, "Throughout that whole fight thing she would break something over my head then be like, 'Are you OK?'"
