'Taken' sequels 3-5 imagined 0
Whether you're a rogue CIA agent, an Albanian kidnapper or man-eating wolf, it is very unwise to p--- off Liam Neeson. Because he will punch you. Or shoot you. Often both.
In 2008's Taken, Neeson's ex-CIA operative Bryan Mills uses his "very particular set of skills" to hunt down the Albanian Mafia thugs who have kidnapped his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) in Paris. By the end, there were more bodies littering the streets than baguettes in a boulangerie.
As we've seen in the new trailer for Taken 2, the father of one of the dead bad guys (Rade Serbedzija) wants revenge and kidnaps Mills' ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen) in Istanbul, while also hunting for Kim. Clearly, Mills' particular set of skills is again being utilized.
So where does the franchise go after this?
We've taken (no pun intended) the liberty of blue-skying the plots for the next three films.
City officials from Paris and Istanbul assemble a mercenary force to kidnap Kim and avenge the millions of dollars in property damage and funeral expenses Mills was responsible for in Taken and Taken 2. Mills kills them all and saves his daughter.
The multinational support group Victims of Bryan Mills kidnaps Kim in attempt to lure Mills into an ambush and eliminate him, thus sparing future generations from his wanton slaughter. Mills kills them all and saves his daughter.
Aliens observing Earth culture note that thousands of people have been killed in the same of protecting one human known as Kim Mills, so they abduct her to learn more. Mills travels to the aliens' homeworld, kills them all and saves his daughter.
