Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen will need to keep a couple of Thursdays open in September.

“Saturday Night Live” will air two primetime election specials on Sept. 20 and 27 - both Thursdays. NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt announced the specials at the Television Critics Association summer press tour Tuesday.

It’s unclear whether Sudeikis will return to “SNL” next season, but is expected to at least pop in to play Mitt Romney. Armisen is the show’s Obama.
