Cops hunt for Jackson's doc
By IRENE THOMIADIS, SUN MEDIA

Police today are reportedly looking for the doctor who tried to resuscitate Michael Jackson at his L.A. home yesterday.

According to TMZ.com – the celebrity gossip site that broke the news of the pop star's sudden death yesterday – the doctor has not been located and his BMW was towed from Jackson's home last night.

Law enforcement officials believe the doctor gave Jackson an injection before he died, a source told the website.

Jermaine Jackson said the doctor was with his brother when he suffered cardiac arrest.

"The personal physician who was with him at the time attempted to resuscitate him," he said at a press conference at UCLA hospital last night.

There is widespread speculation that Jackson overdosed on Demerol, a powerful painkiller.

An autopsy will be conducted today with the results expected as earlier as this afternoon, according to the Los Angeles coroner's office.
