Actor Chris Noth of Sex and the City and Law and Order fame has confirmed his engagement to Windsor, Ont., native Tara Wilson.
Wilson is the mother of the actor's one-year-old son, Orion.
Noth confirmed the engagement in London, Ont., Sunday, where he was promoting the latest shop in his Once Upon A Tea Cup chain that he owns with Wilson and her sister, Stephanie Cence.
Noth spent about three hours at the teashop to help local owners Laura and Chris DeGroot after having to postpone a planned visit there in August.
Noth -- who referred to Wilson as his fiancee in an interview with the London Free Press -- has said he may open shops in the United States.
