Anna Nicole Smith's bodyguard Maurice "Big Moe" Brighthaupt testified yesterday in court that he saw Howard K. Stern liquefying a powerful drug in Anna Nicole Smith's bathroom, reports tmz.com.
At the preliminary hearing to determine if Stern and two doctors should stand trial, Brighthaupt said he walked into Smith's bathroom in the Bahamas in October, 2006, where Stern told him that he and Smith had decided on cooking the Valium and then injecting it, as it would work faster than taking a pill. He says he then watched Howard load the syringe with liquid Valium but left before Stern allegedly injected her.
Smith's poor health may have complicated her reaction to drugs allegedly prescribed by doctors now charged with conspiring to illegally provide her with controlled substances, a toxicologist testified yesterday.
