Sex and the City 2 will have an Oscar-winning actress in its lineup, according to a lifestyle magazine.
It's none other than Penelope Cruz, who will be doing the fashion dance with Sarah Jessica Parker and her martini-drinking, thousand-dollar-outfit cronies in upscale Manhattan cocktail bars, according to Life & Style magazine.
Well, she won't be literally rubbing shoulders with them - rather, she'll play the "other woman". As the story goes, Mr. Big takes a liking to the sizzling Spanish beauty and sets Carrie's blood on a boil.
Cruz, who won an Oscar for her riveting performance opposite Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona, apparently made a surprise appearance during filming on Oct. 12 in the Empire Hotel in New York City, insiders told Life & Style.
Is it just a rumour? Could be. But it looks sincere enough.
