Film director Roman Polanski is to offer a "very, very significant" sum of cash as bail, reports skynews.com, to allow him to be released from a Swiss jail, his lawyer has said.
Roman Polanski, 76, is understood to be finding conditions tough in jail.
Polanski has been held in custody for three weeks, since he was arrested in Zurich by Swiss police acting on a U.S. extradition warrant.
The 76-year-old director is now waiting to find out whether he will be sent to America to face child sex charges dating from 1977. The Swiss Federal Justice Office turned down his last appeal on Friday.
