Actor Ethan Hawke praised Madonna over the weekend for speaking out against the discrimination of Gypsies during her Sticky & Sweet concert tour over the summer, reports nbcbayarea.com.
"She transcended being a pop star," Hawke said. "She drew international attention and shone the spotlight on a level of racism and the need for greater education."
"I don't have an agenda. Madonna doesn't have an agenda. We aren't politicians," Hawke added.
