No one is denying country cutie Taylor Swift has had a pretty big week.
It started last Saturday when she hosted Saturday Night Life to rave reviews, and Wednesday night she made country music history by being the youngest artists to win entertainer of the year. She also won album of the year and she was named female vocalist of the year.
"This is magical," she Twittered after the awards show. "I have said, 'I love you,' to so many people tonight! I can't stop hugging people."
But one critic says the 19-year-old is too young to win the Entertainer of the Year award. Country music veteran Wynonna Judd told USA Today, "You want my honest comment? It's too much too soon. Time is God's way of keeping everything from happening at once. It's just too much of a good thing too soon."
She added, "It's like the girl who wins an Oscar and she's under 20. What do you do from here?"
Wynonna has been outspoken about younger country stars before. In 2006, Wynonna said she didn't know who Carrie Underwood was after the former Idol winner had been awarded breakout artist of the year at the CMT Music Awards and said today's country singing is too "vanilla." The comment reportedly made Underwood cry.
