Mark Wahlberg celebrated his native state's hockey championship win in 2011 by drinking beer out of the iconic Stanley Cup trophy in between shoots for new comedy Ted.

The Fighter star filmed the movie at several famous locations in Massachusetts last year, including legendary baseball stadium Fenway Park.

And Wahlberg admits one of his personal highlights was getting the chance to shoot a scene on the venue's home-run wall, often referred to as the Green Monster, and drinking out of the silver chalice, which was stored at the park for safe-keeping after being awarded to the Boston Bruins that year.

He tells the New York Daily News, "Filming that scene on the Green Monster in Fenway was like a dream come true. Although they (Fenway Park officials) were really uptight and wouldn't let us run around the field. They wanted us to stay off the grass.

"But the cool part was that the Bruins had just won the Stanley Cup so they had the cup at Fenway and we were drinking beer out of it."
