'Haiti' benefit stays at No. 1

By , QMI Agency

Canadian music lovers continued to be in a giving mood.

The compilation "Hope For Haiti Now" remained at No. 1 for a second consecutive week, selling just under 20,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan data.

The charity effort has now sold almost 40,000 copies since its release two weeks ago.

Country act Lady Antebellum, fresh off their appearance at Sunday's Grammy Awards, made the biggest debut of the week, landing at No. 2 with their second album, "Need You Now" (14,000).

The big premiere sent Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream," the "2010 Grammy Nominees," Lady Gaga's "The Fame, and Ke$ha's "Animal" all down one spot to No. 3, No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6, respectively.

With the hype generated over the DVD release, the companion CD to Michael Jackson’s "This Is It" shot up 15 notches to No. 7, and Adam Lambert's "For Your Entertainment" also made a big jump, moving from No. 15 to No. 8.

Rounding out the top 10 was Michael Buble's "Crazy Love" at No. 9, and the Black Eyed Peas' "E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) at No. 10.

In the United States, Lady Antebellum landed in first, followed by "Hope For Haiti Now" in second, Lady Gaga in third, Boyle in fourth, and Barry Manilow's "The Greatest Love Songs of All Time" in fifth.
