Designer Kim Newport-Mimran's spring vision is inspired by the Parisian preppy, as classics take a French twist in her Pink Tartan line.
"My specialty is wearable sportswear that takes you from day to dinner," says Newport-Mimran.
Wearable sportswear will include shorts suits, shimmering tweed jackets and nautical elements.
"There'll be scarf-inspired prints, navy, lots of sequins and pearls," says Newport-Mimran.
Newport-Mimran, a native of Niagara Falls, Ont., founded Pink Tartan in 2002, in partnership with her husband Joseph Mimran.
The line continues to make a mark domestically and in the United States, where it continues to find favour with a number of Hollywood celebs.
The Pink Tartan line is well known in Canada and in the U.S.
